ONE YEAR
Earlier this year, I began a long-term project with people close to me.
Each year, on the same date, I will visit them in their homes to make a portrait, photograph an object that holds significance in their daily life, and ask them to complete the same questionnaire.
A year can feel both fleeting and immense. In the space of twelve months, a life can quietly transform entirely.
This project is an attempt to observe, over time, what changes, what disappears and what endures, our relationship to the places we inhabit, and to the passing of time itself.
